What a month it has been...

These are some fun pictures from some happenings the past 2 weeks or so....
We had a great visit this past weekend from one of our great friends (minus his fiance' who was studying for a test all weekend).  ENJOY!!!

So I got this great all white serving bowl with handles and all weekend the guys thought it was hilarious to wear my bowl on their heads... this was the only picture I was able to catch of them.
I love this guy... what a friend in Zeb.
Zeb and Lance... I dare to say 2 peas in a pod this weekend.  They may have had to much fun staying up until 4am playing original super mario brothers.... some one help them!
These are some pictures of the awesome sunset outside our house that I captured.  Yes, my husband did call me and ask me to go outside and take pictures of the sunset.  I thought he was kidding until he told me he was serious and I complied.  But the whole string of pictures turned out incredible.

Hosting a Baby Shower for Friends....

Lance and I help host a baby shower for our friends Marcus and Courtney on Saturday with 3 other couples.  We set the guys up outside with the beer buckets and room to hang out and the girls inside.  We put together a baby blue and lime green color scheme.  Kristin made the diaper cake center piece.  The parents-to-be had a great time hanging out with friends.  The food was delicious and cake was sooooo good- it hit the sweet tooth.  Baby Cal received lots of awesome presents and should be set with clothes, toys, books, blankets, and so much more.  Here are just a few of the 100+ photos we took.  CONGRATS MARCUS AND COURTNEY!!  We are looking forward to March 11th.

Keeping A Baby....

Lance and I decided to keep a very precious 11 month old baby boy on Saturday night so his mom could have dinner and adult conversation with a friend.  Needless to say I don't think Lance and I are quite ready to be parents yet.   But I thought I would post some pictures that were way to cute of this little man.... WE LOVE HIM!!!
He loved the ads from the Sunday paper.... he threw it around, shook it, smiled and giggled.
Then we played with "his" cell phone... he made lots of calls.
Then made cute faces like this one of "ohhhh" while we played.  Thanks Courtney for letting us keep him.  We had a GREAT time and will look forward to the next time.

New Year's Eve

We spent New Year's Eve with some friends in Crowley.  Courtney looked awesome for being so pregnant and she was such a trooper.  The guys had a great time and enjoyed the party pack Kristen bought.  The girls well we just enjoyed hanging out.  These are just a few pictures.

First Anniversary

I surprised Lance with a trip to California for our first wedding anniversary.  We stayed in Sonoma and went into San Fransisco two days.  Lance played golf one day and I walked around the town square in Sonoma and shopped.  Enjoy the few pictures I posted.

This is the room we stayed in ~ it was in  the original part of the old resort we stayed at.  It was beautiful.
This is one of the pictures I took of the hotel while I was walking around and Lance was golfing.
This was Lance's favorite thing in San Fran.  HE LOVED THE SEA LIONS!!!!
Not a great picture but it is one of the few of the two of us together on Pier 39.
I made Lance trek all the way to Ghiradelli Square so I could have some chocolate.
We took a trip to Alcatraz.... I think Lance finally put me in my place behind bars... ha ha ha!
He found his spot.
Alcatraz Island as we left after our multi hour tour.
The actual top layer of our wedding cake one year later..... thawed..... and actually DELICIOUS!!

Oh and we arrived to champagne and chocolate covered strawberries at our hotel.  What a great vacation.  We had a great time on our vacation.  Lance is in charge of our second anniversary celebration!
